We booked this restaurant as it was close to both our hotel and the theater. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very accommodating maitre d' and waitstaff. The food was very good. I would definitely return.

Very expensive but worth the money
First of all, Trattoria Dell’Arte has a very nice ambience, with large shards of sculptures hanging on its pleasant and vibrant colored walls. The host and staff were all very cordial and accommodating. The appetizers, we had the sampler, were all delicious. My entrée was very tasty. Lobster & linguini carbonara. The lobster was cooked perfectly, fresh and tasty, the sauce and pasta, well, simply perfetto! Great welcoming restaurant for after theatre.....food is really good....
Trattoria Dell Arte is one of my go to places when I come to NYC- It is always easy to get a table, it's authentic and the servers are very friendly and not at all pretentious like other NYC establishments. The pasta is filling so you definitely feel like you got a real meal. The fish is always good. I do have to mention that the service this time was below average compared to other visits. What a wonderful treat for us as we waited to attend our daughters performance at Carnegie Hall. The Antipasto bar was amazing and our entree which we shared was delicious. We loved the decor and the livelihood of all the fellow diners around us. Also loved the ease of making a reservation through open table.
Party of eight. Everyone enjoyed their meal and their drinks! Atmosphere nice - staff lovely. We celebrated a birthday and the staff made it all the more special! Thank you😊 Great find and will definitely return.
What an awesome place! From the time we walked in until the time we left we felt like family! Kyle was our server and was definitely the best server we had on our entire trip to NYC! He made our cold day indoors as fun as running around town being tourists. The pizzas! OMG the best pizza I have ever had!!!! We will definitely be back and hope Kyle is there to take care of us again!
