I am going to leave a more thorough review tomorrow, but holy cow, the food was very, very good, but what set it apart from other restaurants was the service. Sarah is an awesome goddess of a server. Sharp wit, honesty and candor can sometimes combine to become toxic, but not in this case. So wonderful. First day, three years...who cares she was an excellent and when we come back it will be due to the outstanding Ms. Crespo, who looks nothing like Tina Fey.
Found the place after seeing excellent ratings on Urban Spoon. Service and atmosphere was top notch - honestly the greatest service I had ever had at a restaurant. My wife and I forget our servers name but he was a tall skinny guy with dark glasses. He was a down to earth guy who was very personable. We could tell that he wasn't fake or polite for show - just a solid dude. Truly the best server I have had in my life. Bread to start was amazing - Very tasty. The main course was fair at best. My wife had Lasagna, which came hi... read more
Terrific place to go if going to theatre or Carnegie Hall. A standby / favorite that never disappoints. You can count on it in every way.
I lived in NYC for over 22 years and went here more times than I can count. The food and service were was always consistently good! If something was on the menu that you remembering having before, you could be assured it will be the same. I have been living overseas for over 10 years and even though I checked Trip Advisor's still positive reviews, I didn't know if it was going to be the same We went as a group of 4 after a wonderful day at a Broadway show on Sunday. Two of our group had never been and were there at our sugge... read more
Really delicious! Lobster salad was incredible! Wonderful choices of varied antipasto
Great food but very noisy. Appetizers and desserts are terrific as well. Service great!
This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint. We got the arugula and pepperoni pizza as an appetizer, and it truly is an appetizer to share because it's so crispy and light. I had the diver scallops and mushroom risotto which might be one of the best entrees I've ever had in a restaurant. There was a very wide selection of wine to fit any budget. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in midtown to check out this restaurant.
In town for a trade show and we needed a place we knew we could count on for great food and service. Once again we were not disappointed. I have been here many times with large and small groups and the experience is always consistently GREAT. Thank you to the restaurant staff for always exceeding expectations in every way.
Our experience that night was amazing!! Our server was nothing but wonderful to us... The night of just hanging out with good friends was just overall fun!! The food was good, loved the ham pizza. Will definitely come back!
