Most restaurants with big menus you expect to have certain specialties and strong points...with this restaurant that was not the case because EVERYTHING on the menu was absolutely outstanding. Trattoria Dell'Arte is the perfect place to go if you have plans at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center. The food is good, albeit a little pricey, but they get you in and out fast understanding that you have showtime commitments. It is very, very loud, but certainly fun and energetic.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing homemade pasta dishes! Love to make a stop here on a visit to NYC!

Great location for Carnegie hall patrons, but sadly I can't make it a regular dining venue as too pricey for regular visits....spaghetti and clam sauce was perfect but at $30, a bit overpriced....si a treat for a special occasion.
there was a large birthday party at the table next to us which was very "energetic". they left after about 20 minutes and the noise level went down substantially.
Every time we visit ny we go here the food service is awesome!

We enjoyed a great meal for my daughter's 23rd Birthday. When they found out she was celebrating a birthday, they brought over a cannoli with a sparkler in it and all the waiters sang. There was probably 15 birthdays that night! We were not rushed at all throughout our meal and the food was just terrific. My son had the chicken parm and it took up his entire plate. He loved it!
