Our waiter was fantastic. We had cauliflower ravioli and it was delicious. The appetizer came out a little cold but still great. Also, had the lemon pie for dessert and it was great! Definitely recommend this place!

We had a large group of kids & adults and went there after an event at Carnegie Hall. Service was great, the place is very noisy. The food took a while to make it to the table, but the management made up for that by sending us bottles of wines to keep us happy and it worked. We had the Soft shell crabs and they were really good.
This is for us one of those rare things, a neighborhood gem -- excellent food, fine friendly service, and stunning atmosphere. Every time we eat here we exit happy. If -- per chance -- some dish does not satisfy you, too salty, too picante , one can easily send it back without any trouble. This is a wonderful place to eat at any time

We went for a family dinner with both adults and teenagers and everyone fully enjoyed every bite of food that was delivered to the table. The antipasto assortment is the best in NYC and we delighted in introducing fiddlehead ferns to the teenage foodies-to-be as one of the antipasto selections. We chose Trattoria due to its location (across from Carnegie Hall) but were very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellence of the service. They accommodated our large party (12) easily. Everyone (children included although no kids' menu) enjoyed their meals, the desserts were wonderful and even those of us who didn't order dessert enjoyed our complimentary oatmeal cookies warm from the oven. We will definitely return.
