We have been going to this restaurant since it opened and are never disappointed. The service is always great and the food is fantastic. Our favorite go-to restaurant in New York.
We recently dined at Trattoria Dell'Arte on a weekend evening. The food is great and the location is very convenient to Central Park and Carnegie Hall. What made this meal so special however was the incredibly attentive service of our waiter. Wish I could remember his name but he wears a hat and recognizable black round glasses. Was expecting flavors to be something a little more original or special. The food was good but not exceptional or something we couldn't have had at most other Italian restaurants, especially for the price.
Served excellent meal on time before theater
As usual, this place delivered. I find the staff friendly and expert. The short ribs meat balls are well worth crossing town for. Quaint, friendly bar is always pleasant and dependable as well. Excellent location amid more expensive options. It's a regular stop for me. You should try it. You will go back.
very accommodating for our large group. Some food items are gigantic so ask ahead if dishes should be shared,
We spend 2 weeks a year in NYC and never miss a the opportunity to eat ar Trattoria del arte...the menu isn't overwhelming. the chef offers fewer, excellent choices..pastas are well prepared, beautifully presented by attentive, knowledgeable waiters... love the outside dining area (very close to the street) on a nice spring night, but indoor ambience cant be beat for a quiet, romantically candlelit experience...when you go, be sure to try the fried artichokes--to die for!!
We so enjoyed our dinner, this was the second time this week. Great food, good staff, lively atmosphere.
This restaurant doesn't disappoint! It's consistently great and that is why it's open a long time and crowded all the time. Ask to sit in Guy's section. The best waitstaff person in the city!
