La primera vez fuimos en la noche, el lugar estaba lleno, nos dieron una mesa muy pequeña en medio del restaurante y rodeados de personas, pero nos cambiaron a una mejor, la comida excelente, recomiendo la alcachofa frita es única. El mesero que nos toco muy platicador pero con las otras mesas por lo que el servicio fue apenas regular.
It is the perfect spot for dining before a Carnegie Hall concert. Very good food, ample menu, attentive and curtain time aware staff. What more could one want.

This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The reviews of this place completely live up to the quality. As we came in for lunch, the host was so friendly, more than I have ever seen in my life, especially for NYC. The bread was fantastic, and the parmesian panchetta scones!!! (after you eat). The 101 layer lasagna was to die for, all meat. basically if you do not go here you are missing out.
The chicken parm was amazing! Huge piece of beautifully pounded chicken, with pepperoni and dollops of ricotta cheese, a great twist! The 101 layer lasagna was lacking a bit of sauce but delicious. A great wine list too. We have been before and will go again! P.s. Their antipasto bar is huge go hungry !
This was second time iate here. Once again the staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. The food was again delivious. But i enjoyed the ambience in the back where i was last time better than in front despite the nice street view of Carnegie Hall. Still highly recommend this place
Our dining experience was beyond our expectations-from the food which was fresh and presented beautifully to the warmth of the welcome by the service staff and management. We felt like we "had come home"….attentive, friendly and professional staff made the meal even more enjoyable. The COOKIES were amazing-what a touch!
