This was a group of 6 and first time dining at Trattoria Dell'Arte, it was delicious and we totally enjoyed ourselves. We especially want to rave about our waitress, Hannah from Indiana, she was awesome!!
Vibrant Italian restaurant. Food was fine. Server was very attentive- probably would go back for seconds.
Came here for a business lunch and enjoyed it. The food was solid and the staff was attentive and friendly (we were given a very hearty greeting and farewell which was memorable).
From start to finish - this was a very, very nice experience. The waiter recommended the perfect wine for us to drink. The menu was quite varied and we chose selections that we could finish in one sitting since we were from out of town. They were both delicious. We also had dessert - the best Cannolies we have ever had. The shell was very, very crisp and the filling was creamy and marvelous.
We were treated like family and served quality tasty food from start to finish. I can not say enough about the hospitality. The chicken parm was outstanding and the Tartufo desert was the literal icing on a great meal.
Overall, quite good, with exception of my wife's entree. The focaccia was superb, as was my entree of baked snapper. My wife said her veal masala was overcooked, had only a slight taste of wine, and did not come with a vegetable. The vegetable appetizers and side dishes looked interesting and sounded appetizing but would be more appropriate for a group than a couple. The tiramisu was outstanding. Very good service staff. Noisy.
Took a client there and they were from out of town...great overall service, meal and staff.
In the NY Metro area there are lot of fine Italian restaurants. This one stands out as one of the very best. Something as common as Chicken Parmesan was a whole new experience. Check this place out.
After what must be my tenth plus dining experience at Trattoria Dell'Arte (and I am from San Francisco, California), the truly fine excellence in food, service, and pricing keeps getting even better, as evidence by my return visit over all the other fine dining in Manhattan. We dined with friends in the wine room, and it was a superb setting. Ray, the maître d, could not have been more hospitable and gracious, and recommended a bottle of sensuously delicious wine. The Antipasto bar is unrivalled anywhere, and selections from... read more
