One of my faves - Trattoria dell'Arte is a classic retro NYC dining experience with an updated spin on classic fare. The food does not disappoint; service is excellent and you can count on a bangin' straight up martini. Room is somewhat noisy and the menu is pricey but the overall ambiance, food and service is well worth it. Easy access to Carnegie Hall and theaters.

Every time I am in New York I make a bee line to Trattoria Dell'Arte to indulge in the best Veal Marsala I have ever had anywhere. It is darkly rich and velvety smooth and melts in your mouth.
The food is fantastic, but the service is the best. Made me feel like I was dining with family (in a good way). The lemoncello cake is possibly the best dessert I have ever tasted. If you like key lime pie it is a must have. Also, you can't miss with the 100 layer lasagna.
Trattoria Dell'Arte was delightful in every way! We were early for our reservation and they warmly welcomed the six of us for a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious and we had such a great time that we had no idea how late it really was!!
My wife and I haved used Trattoria as a "go to" place for ourselves as well as visitors to NYC for the last 7-8 years. We are always so pleased with the food, the service and the nice energy that the place always seems to have at dinner time. Thin crust pizza for the table plus antipasto to start. My absolute favorite. The GM Brandon makes you feel like you're sitting down to a meal in his home. The best!
