Uneven and very pricey: The pasta dish was exceptional although a small portion, the pizza delightfully thin-crusted with fresh ingredients, but all else at best okay, including the salad that was as limp as can be. Very expensive for what it is..
We had been to Bond 45, and our friends had recommended Trattoria, but we were a little disappointed in the restaurant. The menu was not as extensive as Bond 45. I wanted the organic chicken I had seen on Bond 45 menu, but Trattoria didn't have it. Also, we ordered the arugula salad with asparagus, beets, cheese, etc and were shocked that we could barely find the beets or the asparagus or the cheese. In addition, the arugula was most bitter arugula I have ever had. The salmon was good. The ac kept going on and off, making us... read more
The best soft shell crab ever! With the antipasto bar so appealing, it is always a challenge to make a decision. Our server, Ricky was knowlegeable, friendly, perfect in pacing the meal.
Always super loud but food is great and the antipasto bar is to die for.
Although we were originally seated at a table that was in a busy aisle, the server rearranged the table and chairs at another table to make it more comfortable for us. Much appreciated. The food was good and the servers made sure that we finished in time to get to our concert at Carnegie Hall. I'd recommend this restaurant.

I don't know if it is pure economic supply and demand, but it will temper my inclination to return again soon. To me, the value has fallen off enough to warrant my opinion.
I have eaten here each time I've come to NYC for the past 12 years, and it always amazes me. Fresh tastes, great service, friendly people, courteous and accommodating, fantastic waitstaff, and to-die-for food. I ate here twice before September 11, 2001; by chance, I was in NY for business, destined to meet a client in the WTC that morning at 9AM and diverted to the client's midtown offices at the last minute, which literally saved my life. Though most businesses shut down that day, this restaurant remained open and welcoming... read more
We had a great waiter. The appetizers were terrific, the meal was just as good. We were able to squeeze in on short notice. Will go again!
I Love it here. The food and the service is amazing. The Veal and the Tuna are my go to items on the menu, and Bobby always makes sure our dinner is enjoyable.
