Very good food and fun atmosphere. A bit louder than I'd like, and disappointed that they were out of their signature appetizer at 6:00 PM on a Friday (not sure how that happens when 6:00PM is criminally early for dinner in NYC). The dishes we did have were very good (I'll stop short of "outstanding" - except for their fresh mozzarella which is the best I've had). If you're off to a show at Carnegie Hall - you can't beat the location - but I wouldn’t make a special trip to this spot - as there are many others as good or bett... read more
I make it a point to eat at Trattoria Dell'Arte every time I travel to New York. My latest experience was a wonderful as all of the previous visits - great food, great service! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Always attentive staff. Fine food and great atmosphere. A good place for spotting celebs.
One of my favorite Manhattan restaraunts. Anti past bar is the best and a meal in itself. Everything on the menu is excellent but if you are really hungry and want an amwazing meal order the Veal Chjop. They flatten it out to the size of a pizza, then cover it in souce and cheese - crazy! This place is just fantastic every time. Not over priced and the staff is just great.
Upbeat sort of place and more expensive than I would have thought... service was good and food was adequate but would not put it in the high end Italian group. I would go there again but very noisy the night I was there but they were crowded so that has to be some indication of its popularity. Location may have helped on crowd... but come prepared to pay.
The best piccatta I have ever eaten. Scrumptious!
Right across the street from Carnegie Hall, delicious Italian, diverse menu; fun, noisy but chic NY spot; great for entertaining out of town guests. Hearty fare like the veal chop parm, but also excellent seafood and delicate fish offerings, and of course perfect pastas. Yum.
We loved the antipasto. Have been there many times.
Food was excellent - fluke was nicely cooked - not overcooked -my husband loved his tuna - house made mozerella cheese was outstanding -our waiter was wonderful - took into account a gluten free diet and took many pictures for us - all the time laughing and joking with us - we dined outside - perfect for going to see a show ar carnegie hall - right across the street - excellent place to people watch - saw jackson browne and he was very friendly - another highlight was dessert - the chocolate mousse served table side - way to... read more
