The meal was delicious, service was very attentive. Although the restaurant is loud, we were able to carry on a conversation without yelling across the table. We will return.
The food was wonderful--sophisticated but not inaccessible--and the service was great. The ambiance was perfect. A great place to take family, a date, or friends.
We love this restaurant! We have been coming for years, mostly to the antipasto bar before theater - and we are always greeted like family. Food is fabulous, scene is fun, service is impeccable. We will keep coming back!
The food cannot be beat! I think it's the best Italian food in midtown Manhattan! The veal parmeasan is outstanding and enough for 3 people! The pizza is paper thin and out of this world! The ahi tuna was amazing as well. The waiters are friendly and the service is great! I can't wait to go back to NY and to go to this fabulous restaurant again!
Always guaranteed a good meal and a pleasant dining experience guided by friendly, helpful professional wait staff - it's a mid-town goto for us.
We've been there often during the concert season at Carnegie Hall; always certain of very good food and service. One is surrounded by vital and interesting people, and the staff is accommodating, too.
My first time recommended by friends was not a disappointment. If you can get JR as your server, even better. We had lots of fun with him, and he just took it all in stride. Even got a hug at the end of the night. Though there always seemed to be a mix up of which server was serving our table, it didn't distract from the evening.

Trattoria Dell'Arte is solidly in my rotation of area restaurants that I enjoy. I am always made to feel at home in this place which keeps me coming back. The food and wine was very good as it always is.
