Excellent service, great food. We feel pampered the minute we walk in the door. We have been going back once a year or so for the past six years, and it is a guaranteed good time.
I went to Trattoria with group of friends during restaurant week. The restaurant week menu was pretty good and so was the food from the regular menu. The waiter was amazing and a lot of fun. We were the loudest table in the restaurant but never had any problem with the staff and management...This is a Pretty cool, laid back restaurant with very decent food.
Our favorite place to go when in NYC. Every trip to NYC includes a meal a Trattoria Dell'Arte. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere memorable.
Service was superb. Our reservation was for 6 p.m. and the waiter immediately asked us if we were going to a show as he wanted to make sure he got us out in time without rushing us. Food was very good and restaurant noise level was fine for conversation (we had a table of eight). Definitely would recommend it!
I'm from D.C., but have connected with NYC friends at the Trattoria Dell'Arte many times. We affectionately refer to it as "The Nose" and it's always wonderful. This time I especially appreciated the new-to-me wine recommendation (a Gavi) by the friendly bartender.
My husband was thrilled with the antipasto bar. I was thrilled to be able to get the vegetarian soup, but was disappointed that it was so bland. The host was so welcoming and animated. He made us feel very welcome, even with children. The service was a little spotty, but we did enjoy the meal.
A friend highly recommendedthis restaurant. When I saw it's location - heavily crowded and tourist laden uptown- I thoughjt for sure that it would cater to the tourist crowd and have mediocre foodi was happily surprised! And the margherita pizza that hey are known for was excellent!! Outside it was fun to people watch and enjopy the warm weather - too hot to enjoy during the day.
Food was great. Our second time dining there and we will be back.
amazing food, great Italian wine, definitely one of NY's best.
