Our first dinner on this trip to NYC & we really liked it. The food was quite good as was the service. The restaurant was quite busy that night but it didn't affect our service or quality of our dinner. Very lively place.
We were there for a special occasion - we were moved from a great table to the front due to work being scheduled in the dining room - would have been nice for them to have seated us correctly first. We love this place and always go when we are in New York. Not the best this time but still better than most places.
Delicious food. Do not pass up the anti pasto bar! Outstanding service.

For me it´s a New York Classic. Well beyond trends. Its Margueritta pizza and the Veal Chop Parmeggiana are awesome. I´ve been eating in Trattoria since 1997. Great place!
bargain parking, literally next door to restaurant. Ask maitre 'd for coupon and parking is 1/2 price for up to 3 hrs--and this was on a Saturday evening.
