The food was delicious and the ambience/decor is wonderful. In the past when we've been there, the service was fabulous but unfortunately this was not the case on Saturday night. While the restaurant seemed to have been more cognizant of time for groups who were going to the theater after dinner, it came at the expense of those of us who did not have a show to catch. I had not been here for a while and was disappointed in the seafood antipasto. It was always my favorite. They no long offered backed salmon as a choice and I was shocked when the plate was put in front of me how tiny the portion of each was. In the past it was large enough for a meal. This time it was hardly an appetizer size. However, I have to say it tasted good.
The $35 price fixed dinner was great. Many choices and all of them delicious. And, the portions were big. In addition, we were treated to a bottle fo prosecco. Who could ask for anything more.
fantastic. we had requested a booth,and although the restaurant was very busy,they accomodated our request...it was fantastic.
Excellent, from start to finish. Convenient to the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall, both, as well as to the theatre district. Servie was outstanding, starting with the warm way we were greeted when we arrived. Food was excellent. We'll be back.
Service was OK considering it was a pre-theatre crowd.
Although it can get crowded, one does not feel uncomfortable because of the very attentive service. The Prix Fixe dinner is excellent.
