Very nice restaurant across from Carnegie Hall. The food was good and enhanced by the service which was friendly and attentive without pretension or being overbearing. It definitely caters to families as we were one of only a handful of couples on this night before Thanksgiving.

Brandon manages a lively, fun venue, all the while keeping it organized and customers happy. We arrived early, but when we left the diners were lined up out the door waiting to get in. The staff kept it moving quickly. The food was great Italian trattoria and extremely generous. We felt that we were in the center of Manhattanites who were ready to relax and enjoy themselves after a week at work. Convivial, all in all, a carefully orchestrated great dining experience.

I work right around the corner and have passed this place a thousand times on my way to Red Eye Grill. The food was outstanding (maybe the best in NY). For apps, the sampler, the assorted olives, and the signature fried artichokes are more than enough for a meal. The veal parm is massive and every bite makes you wish that you just sat down and your stomach was still empty. Joey, our waiter who resembles a younger Joe Pesci, was funny and helpful. Everyone in our party of 8 agreed this would be our new spot to meet when looki... read more

The food we chose was outstanding and served with professionalism. The efficiency of the wait staff enabled us to enjoy our pre-theater meal without nervousness about time, yet we never felt rushed -- just in good hands. Service is very friendly and attentive to personal wishes. I recommend choosing from the bar of seafood and vegetable dishes; all offer delightful surprises of preparation. A 7-item platter made a meal for one of us plus appetizer for the other, who added a separate dish: pappardelle with shrimp in a light c... read more

We had a great meal. Loud, fun, adult (mostly) crowd. Everyone was celebrating.....many birthdays. Nice mix of locals and tourists. Good wine list which was not priced thru the roof. Waiter was REALLY BUSY but took good care of us. We were in NYC for 5 nights and the meal stood out......we also ate at Sparks Steak House, Oceana, had great sushi, French........top to bottom this was the best!

Delicious food and attentive service make this a good spot before Carnegie Hall events. It was a little expensive though so save it for special occasions.

Went in for Thanksgiving Dinner. What a wonderful experience. Though I was dining solo they made me feel very warm and welcome. Great place I highly recommend it.

A combo neighborhood gem and pre-theater destination with good food (and commensurate price tag), attentive service and a boisterous, lively scene. This restaurant is a major business enterprise - serving hordes of the hungry before and after Carnegie Hall concerts and City Center events. Utterly reliable.
