Everything was ok except the cost. The only problem was the price for a nonweekend stay.
Wasn’t as great as expected Wifi doesn’t work. No mini fridge in the room and the soaps aren’t the greatest. I’ve had better room amenities at crappy motels. Location is nice, and seems to have a nice amount of things to do in the hotel even though a lot was closed due to COVID.

Not enough staff It was in a great location. The shops on property are beautiful and staff is friendly. The pool is beautiful First they had no valet service. They did not have any carts to help with bags. We’re told when we checked in that there would be valet to help us when we parked in the garage. There was no one around. The room was dirty. When COVID has moved on and renovations are completed, we might consider returning. Lack of choices for food. Coffee shop used to be open 24/7. Now it closes at odd hours. The Italian restaurant was a favorite of ours, and now appears to be gone. It is difficult to assess any property during the COVID crisis, however, the Trop seems to be undergoing more than its share of renovations. In the process they've shut down most of their places to eat. Coffee shop is on limited hours and closes at weird times
