They do not care about seniors they have a 5% discount but do not let us know about it no signs or on their website no information about seniors getting a discount on every Wednesday but if you buy a sale item the 5% discount does not apply so I guess they don't want our business so it's up to the seniors to decide were to shop
Parking nightmare out front, use the rear entrance. Checking out is time consuming - don't go if you don't have an extra 10-15 min. Went there twice for a large pizza. First time - soggy crust beneath cheese, decent flavor. The second time, blandest pizza I have ever eaten. Bye Uncle Joe!
8/28/2022 I bought four packages of veal cutlets yesterda, picked out for mr by a butcher. Awful. We pounded them and slow fried. Very tough. Terrible taste. $50 down the drain.

I've noticed on multiple occasions the older ladies behind the customer service desk being rude to POC. When they get a non poc customer they are very helpful and smile. In this day and age it is very sad to see this occur. I have added Melville UG to our temples DNB list.

Let me first say that I really do love this store. BUT, they just make it so hard to shop here. let me explain... I have not found a single thing in the deli section that I didn't like. The same goes for the hot food area, I especially like their chicken parmigana and eggplant parmigiana. The penne with vodka sauce is also very good, if you get there when they first put the pan in (like all pasta, once it sits awhile, the pasta becomes to mushy). Tried their "famous" crumb cake. It was so dry that it was inedible. Threw the entire cake in the garbage. Entennmans would have been better.
