I always go to Uncle Giuseppe's for my Christmas desserts, this year was no different, I also got a Birthday cake for my grandson. I bought 1lb of Cannoli's - no taste and the shells were soft. I bought a cheesecake - no taste and no crust. I bought a carrot cake - so so so dry. I bought a Birthday cake - it was so dry and hard. Horrible today in all ways. no price tags on more then a few items, blocked isles, rude staff, manager who laughed off my complaints to a truly nasty check our man. Never had this bad of an experience in a supermarket. This market is one of several I have used in the past few years. Can't believe how I was spoken to. Big downward change here. Never going back

So, so sorry to say it, but as disappointed as I was when Turcos was sold to this LI based grocery store. I had hoped that when they recently relocated the store, (sadly, leaving yet another empty store in 'fair Yorktown Heights', which looks more and more like a dreary ghost town every day) it might be improved...not! Price discrepancy. I purchased a product that was advertised by the shelf price tag at 5.99. When I got to the cashier, the price came out to be 6.99. I went to customer service to advise them of their pricing problem, a woman with a handheld pricing computer verified the price at 6.99. Which wasn't my complaint. I then got a clerk to come over to the shelf and showed her the price tag of 5.99. She removed the tags and said it was Boars Head (the manufacturer) fault because they tagged the shelf. I visited Uncle Giuseppe's in Massapequa for the first time. I brought my bottles and cans for recycling. I couldn't find a recycling area in the store so I approached their customer service desk. I asked where I could recycle my bottles and cans. One of their female employees told me that there was no recycling machine and she would accept my recycle bottles and cans at her desk.
