Tried their "famous" crumb cake. It was so dry that it was inedible. Threw the entire cake in the garbage. Entennmans would have been better.
11 o'clock on a Saturday morning and AGAIN, no fresh mozzarella. This place never ceases to disappoint
The good: big space, great selection of jarred Italian products and condiments, convenient location, and friendly staff. They also have really pretty flowers (albeit expensive) and adorable chocolate bar (which I've never gotten anything from but it looks really yummy). Just EW. I walked in and smelt nothing but rotting meat or eggs, idk what it was but it got worse the closer I walked towards the deli section. It could have been the look on my face, because of the stench, but as I was walking past an employee he then asked me "wow whats *your problem??" I didn't even know what to say. I told him this store smells like shit and I left my cart there, and went to stop and shop. Save yourself a trip and don't go into this location. Rude/Unhygenic/Almost out of everything anyway.

Visited Mom and Dad. Decided to order pizza. They mentioned Uncle Giuseppe's as a local fav. We ordered a plain Margherita Pie and a Grandmas. Both made of the same crust and nearly the same topping but for the lines of pesto on the GM pie. limp crust, charred but without character. Cheese was topped like an open faced grilled cheese rather than baked in. That Mozz never bubbled in the oven and never melded with the crust. We thought this place would be great because they have a good selection of ice cream and frozen fruit and they're close to where I live. So, I figured, we could get the food home and into the freezer pronto. Unfortunately EVERY time we've tried to make a purchase here the cashier line has taken 15-20 minutes, twice with only one person ahead of us.
