Got a fruit tart with strawberries and blueberries and it was bland. They have everything in this place so there is plenty to try. Next time I am going to try the hot food.

We returned to NJ and had an extremely difficult time finding an Italian deli that could provide pastries and hard bread until a friend's neighbor told us about Uncle Giuseppe's Italian Market. We were overwhelmed by the cleanliness of the whole market as well as the politeness of the staff. The pizza was ok we would have preferred less crust and more cheese for the 20" cheese pizza. Like the store and have shopped often. However, an alarming issue recently occurred. I chose a cheese spread and saw about six packages, all expired by one month. I brought it to the attention of the employee working in the cheese section. She calmly told me that was all they had and showed no concern that they were one month past expiration. I repeated this to her and, again no awareness that a cheese product should not be sold to customers when it was past its safe date, especially one month past. People need to be warned ... read more
