I had my installation started 3 weeks ago and it is still not completed
Not likely to recommend based on my installation experience. The whole reason I paid more for your product was to not have to worry about doing the installation myself. That was not the case and I will have to remove the windows to do it the right way. My existing old windows had a built in J-channel for the vinyl siding yet the installer did nothing to 4 of the 8 windows installed because this detail was overlooked by someone, and he had no J-channel for the install. This is the second time we have worked with UWD. The first experience was outstanding from start to finish. But the second left much to be desired, particularly in follow up to address some importance concerns about the work. The install was fine. But we were initially told that our blinds would be reinstalled and they were not. We had also asked that certain flashing around the edges would done like the first install on our home and it was not. The installers said someone would be in touch the next day. While the product is a superior product, the communication leaves a lot to be desired. The sales team is beyond pushy. They are trying to sell an expensive product, and act accordingly.
This company will call you 24/7 to get your business. But when you've given them your money, they will rarely call you back. They will not update you on when your product is ready. I had to constantly call the salesman, who did his job already, to have him get in contact with the company. I ordered gutters and gutter toppers. The first appointment time, no one showed up or even called to say they weren't coming. Once I asked for my money back, Mike Mooney called me back asap and got someone out to install the gutters only. T... read more
