My experience with the people who matter most at this company has been excellent. When placing your order double check for accuracy by the sales person, they give exactly whats on that order. The company has excellent products with quality installation. I would use them again.
We are happy with the quality and functionality of the large living room windows that we got from Universal.. They were unable to do our basement windows other than solid glass so we did not follow through on those. Communication on those windows could have been better. Universal, as I had previously read in reviews, does take a large $ portion up front, (waited 4 months) which can make you nervous, but we are satisfied with the final result. I am amazed by this company. The quality of these Windows , the affordable price, even the customer service is outstanding. And no more drafty Windows. I did have a problem with 1 window and had to leave a message because they were already closed but they got back to me the next day, sent someone out to take pictures within 3 business days and reinstalled the window within 3 weeks.The installer pointed out that the screens didn't fit properly so they replaced all the screens. The crew was highly professional, the materials used were of excellent quality, and the installation was flawless. The price was very reasonable compared to other companies I researched.
