I scheduled an appointment online. Filled out necessary paperwork on line. (This took longer and was more involved than I expected!). When I arrived the receptionist was able to pull-up my file. I quickly paid the required co-pay. About 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment I was taken back to an examination room. The nurse practitioner examined me, determined I had an ear infection and prescribed a treatment.
