Food is TERRIBLE and everything is insanely overpriced. $50 an HOUR for bowling after 6pm. Not worth it.
My group likes to go there for the bands, music and dancing, and for bowling. It's a very nice venue, convenient, with plenty of parking. Timely service has been a problem. Though this last Saturday our server was pretty good. Maybe because we got there after the dinner rush, but she brought us drinks in a reasonable time and she was smiling and courteous. The weekend bands do not offer a wide range of listening pleasure.
The games are the same... bowling, laser tag and an arcade area. It's getting old and needs some new life, but still acceptable. The service in food area... we needed to call over for another waitress for there was a huge language barrier. I know I live in the largest mixing bowl of ethnic disparity, but in an industry of order taking... if one asks about the beverages that are available for kids, and you get in response "the soda fountain". I have been to Uptown Alley a couple of times now. My first visit, service was slow but it was opening week, so I was forgiving and left in hopes that this place would get better. Second visit, we waited at the bar for 40 minutes to order a drink. No one bothered to make eye contact. After multiple attempts to get the bartenders attention, we left. It was very disappointing. Band is great! Service sucked. Server came to table maybe 3 times. Wanted to order food, but after the first hour she never came back to see if we needed/wanted anything.
