HORRIBLE service. Terrible tech support and customer service that is NON EXISTENT. When you need to get help they aren’t there. They never actually follow through. I am planning on canceling my service tomorrow. I have had my signal dropped way to many times. Between myself and my husband we have both lost signal while in the middle of tests for college. This is the last time. So sick of the crappy service.
Had this service for some time now in Eagle Mountain. I am here in the middle of the day trying to watch a Direct TV On Demand show and NO ELSE is in my house using my network and it won't download. Says the network is not "optimized" this happens ALL THE TIME. Last time I called UBB says "your plan doesn't allow for multiple devices sreaming/downloading at the same time, so I paid/upgraded to avoid any issues. It still sucks! My recommendation, if you have other options before UBB, I suggest going somewhere else.
Service is terrible. It is so slow. We had comcast before and loved it. We are going back to Comcast as soon as they have it in our area.
Just got the service yesterday. So far it is way faster than century link which we had previously. The only negative comment I have so far would be that the installer seemed to have a bit of an attitude when he thought we were asking too many questions and it was taking too long. He made a comment that he was “behind schedule now because this is taking a lot longer than it normally does.” We were not being unreasonable with our questions. First off, the tier 1 techs are great. When the internet works, it's great. But Lord help you if your internet goes down after working hours or especially over the weekend. They don't have ANYONE who can troubleshoot issues with their equipment between Saturday at 8 pm and Monday at 8 am. So if your internet goes down anytime in those hours, you will be without anything for hours. Ridiculous! Was told by Sean in sales I would have exceptional service at my home so I happily waited 3 days for installation. It was scheduled between 9-1pm, Trevor the intaller didn't show up til 2. He then got on my roof looked at 3 towers and decided we wouldn't get service. Nothing like wasting an entire day waiting for nothing. Even better is when I called to figure out why it was taking so long I was hung up on 4 times Amy because she couldn't figure out how to transfer to a manager. It's great if you only have one computer that is used for email. In a family house with multiple devices connected, it's the worst experience I've had. The POE is constantly, reliably, going down when ever multiple devices are trying to access the internet. We have to reset the "modern" multiple times a day. I'm dos'ing my own connection because of bad equipment on UBB end, that they refuse to acknowledge is a fault on their end. Stay as far away as you can if stability and reliability are important.
