My dad was admitted to Valley Pointe nursing couple of weeks ago and stayed for a week while he regained his strength to walk again. The best part of this facility is the people working here! Everyone is truly caring from nurses, social workers, pharmacists, admission, doctors and more. This was my first experience with a skilled nursing facility, I was impressed with how much they do for the patients to keep them taken care of, fed well, entertained and on the way to fast recovery. My mom was admitted for skilled nursing care at this facility on June 30, 2025. At the age of 100, she was treated with excellent care! She had physical therapy, played bingo 3 times a week and worked at least 2 crossword puzzles each day. While everyone was caring, a special shoutout goes to JoAnn and Evar! The director of activities was especially nice as well. While no one wants to see their loved one go into a facility, sometimes there is no other alternative. I would like to recommend a five(5) Star evaluation for the entire Nursing Staff for their professional skills and service to their patients. This is such a nice place! They keep everything sooo clean and all of the nurses are sooo nice! And the social worker Joan really went above and beyond! She made sure my mom had all of the equipment she needed when my mom gets home and arranged for the ambulance to pick her up and drop her off at home in her bed. She informed me well ahead of time about the date of possible discharge. She was always nice and cordial. I just can't say enough about her! Valley Pointe is a wonderful facility with a team that cares greatly for its patients. I have been working at VP for almost a year now and I have seen firsthand just how hardworking the staff are and how much they support the patients on their road to recovery. I appreciate Joanne's (social worker) guidance and help during my mother-in-law's stay at Valley Pointe. She kept us informed and efficiently helped with the necessary transfer forms. The care provided was very good and the facilities are super clean.
