Get directionsMy mom has been at Valley Pointe for almost a month after suffering a severe stroke. I specifically chose this facility, even though my mom previously lived in San Francisco, because of its five star rating from Medicare. During our time here, my mom has been treated like family. She has received excellent care from the nurses, nursing assistants, and therapy staff. I have particularly appreciated the help and expertise of the Social Services Director, Joanne. Joanne has gone above and beyond to help me navigate the incredi... read more

Melissa, thank you for this thoughtful review. It is important to our team at Valley Pointe that we do everything we can to help our patients and their families navigate these difficult times and situations. I’m glad that Joan was able to assist you and make a meaningful difference for you and your mother. I’m very proud of this team and their dedication to our patients and residents. Happy New Year!
I was impressed from the moment I spoke with Rosa on the phone. My main concern was about not getting the acute PT/OT and just basically I didn't want to si

I can't help sharing my heartfelt appreciation. My 98-year-old father-in-law stayed at Valley Pointe for 50 days before he was discharged this morning. VP only has 48 beds, a small yet well-run nursing home. In order to keep him company, my husband and I joined him at his dinner time. Being there for over an hour every day gave us an opportunity to witness how a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center functions. Above and beyond our expectations, all the staff members had smiles on their faces doing such a difficult caregi... read more

Thank you Lisa. I’m happy to hear that you and your mother had a positive experience in our facility. Thank you for your kind words of appreciation.
Good nurses. Close to the hospital. They are stretched thin at the moment but are doing quite well despite that.
I highly recommend Valley Pointe Rehab Center. After a spinal fusion operation that had many complications and bad service at another facility, the Valley Pointe staff was a warm welcome to my heart and body. I was well-cared-for, had laughs with the staff, and had a quicker than expected healing process due to the Rehab Team. The effective office staff made all this possible. I thank them again and miss the staff I became close with. Albert Difilippantonio
Valley Pointe Nursing Home was incredibly kind and supportive of my family while we had a family member in their care. The staff was generous with their time and support; when we needed to consider longer-term accommodations, staff were extremely helpful and shared options and helped us determine the next steps. When my father's health worsened staff ensured we could be present the whole time and supported our family as we grieved. Families in need of long-term care are already stressed and worried and Valley Pointe helps sh... read more
My 99 year old mom was there for two months with pneumonia and made a full recovery. She was treated with excellent and loving caring by nurses and attendants. The administrator, Robert Pierce, is a kind and friendly gentleman who saw to our needs. And Rocio was so helpful in getting mom Into this facility. Thank you, Rocio, for your kindness. A great facility!
My Dad was transferred to Valley Pointe from UCSF for extensive rehab following a complex illness, including severe pneumonia requiring ventilator life support in the ICU (COVID-19-negative, luckily). He was at Valley Pointe for over 60 days, and overall the staff was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided quality care with dignity and compassion. The COVID-19 rules permitted visitation only through the window or on the patio (6 foot distance + masks), and the staff always helped facilitate visits as best they could. ... read more
