Worst experience - when I initially called they promised they could beat any price and that I had been quoted, I presented 6 different prices I had gotten from other company’s. I was very detailed on the items i needed to be included in my move.. After paying the initial deposit, come moving time - the movers arrived at my place & the price literally doubled. Horrible experience! Don’t trust this company!
I initially booked with Value Added Moving because their quote was incredibly competitive. However, shortly after booking, I changed my mind and promptly submitted a written cancellation request within the 72-hour cancellation period specified in their contract. I also called the company to confirm that they had received my email. To my surprise, I was informed that my payment would not be processed until 4:00 PM and that they would ensure it wouldn’t go through. Do not use this company. They are a broker and dont handle the move. They send you a quote once you accept it they have you pay for it and state its bot refundable. Then when the movers show up its a completely different company and they tell you the quote was bot accurate and give you another quote 3x more expensive. They are horrible, quoting me for 2400 At first saying they Handel everything then sending a third party that’s trying to charge me 10,000 dollars for the move. They don’t disclose anything with third party either, when they got here they were just as surprised cause value added only gave them information about 1/8 the items that were needing to be moved.

Stay away from this company. I had a horrible experience. I sent them a detailed inventory with dimensions of every thing. I booked their service but the movers charged me more. These guys didn't help
this experience with Value added moving has been expensive and exhausting. the movers were hours late picking up our belongings. doubled the price. finally delivered 29 days later. the customer service line either doesn't answer or gives you no info or status. upon delivery they refused to reassemble our furniture, which was part of the service we paid for. we have damaged furniture. and they refused to take the massive piles if shrink wrap, moving blankets and paper that they insisted on wrapping everything I own in. now... read more
