Absolute NIGHTMARE from start to finish. Once they get your deposit the game is on. Your “dedicated rep” goes MIA when you have the review 2 days before moving…and your price more than doubles. Then the moving company they’ve contracted with shows up and increases your price again! RecommendedValue Added Moving starts out low on their quotes, by the time everything is done the quote is more than double the original quote. They also showed up 5 hours later than they were supposed to be there. I would not recommend Value Added Moving. They are a broker, I would go with an actual Moving company. do your research.
These are all fake reviews padding. Search for the ones that tell you about how they’re brokers who will double your estimate upon arrival.
The sales process was great. Then came the movers. I gave someone my list of items on three different occasions with dimensions. They came and after taking 33 items the movers told me that they were at their quoted limit. They told me it would be double the price for them to finish. I found out that these guys are only brokers. I had to call the actual moving company and re-negotiate pricing. I find it quite odd that my sister posted a negative review and then suddenly 30 positive reviews are posted at the same exact time?!?! This is a scam!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! They quoted my friend $9000 to move and store their stuff until their new home is ready in 2 weeks. My friend paid a $5000 deposit. They arrived 4 hours late and then told her it would be $24K and so she cancelled and they would not refund the $5K saying the contract was just an estimate. Since when is a bill 3x the cost of the estimate! My sweet friend is out $5K during an already expensive time in her life!! Please pass this story along so that no me else falls prey to this company!!!
