Do NOT buy your car from here. Got a warranty for my brand new 2022 Santa Fe, car worked fine for only a year but then pink liquid started spewing out from below. Took it in, was told the radiator broke without any details as to how, made an excuse saying it wasnt covered under warranty. Got it fixed for an outrageous price without ANY rental. They will try to con you out of as much $ as they can. Avoid buying any warranties, they won't honor them. They are just trying to get more money out of you. They refuse to make it right. They are old school shady used car salesmen.
I wish i could give this place zero stars but it's not letting me. I DO NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. After being lied to for a week and no response and bare minimum communication from the dealership. The salesman gave wrong numbers, their cellphone they don't' answer or respond. When you call the dealership you get transferred to some ones voicemail. When you go up to there to get answers they stick you in a room and leave you for hours. If anyone is looking to purchase or lease a car ever, DO NOT USE Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington. My parent's getting into a new lease has been a complete disaster. They tried to charge them for extra warranties and kept giving us the run around. Chad in finance kept playing dumb every one of the 20+ times I called as to when the problems would be corrected and new paperwork sent for signatures. Went to look at a used car and could not believe the BS I was dealt at this dealership!! They add in all sorts of crazy costs and bait and switch the customer with pricing - NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!! I finally walked away!! And today I look and I have 4 ( YES, Four) hard hits on my credit from them trying to run a freaking credit check and they couldn't get their head out of their @ss. I am furious!! Don't waste your money on these greedy people. They ran my credit 5 times in one day without consent. (Back in November)Then I get a call from a salesperson and they were claiming they wanted to make things right so I come in again start test driving a q70l and they agreed to lower the price to make things right for running my credit wrongly before. The service department does not follow their word. My new 2023 Tucson had an issue so I scheduled a service appointment and over the phone they told me they would need to run a diagnostic which would take one day. When I showed up for my 9am appointment they said they'll need my car for a minimum of two days. The next day at noon I called to checkup on my car and I found out they'd not even taken a look at it yet. I was without my car for a whole day and nothing got done. At first I thought the negative reviews might be a little unfair. The operator was helpful and the scheduling seemed to be transparent, but they revealed themselves in the end. My Tucson plug in hybrid was having trouble charging. I bring it in, of course it takes three days to even get a diagnosis, which that timing is somehow the best I could find at a Hyundai dealership so just don't buy a Hyundai honestly.
