My apartment, I like. I get good service with housekeeping and maintenance which is excellent and it is everything I want it to be. But the common areas are dreadful because of the acoustics. It makes socializing more difficult and almost impossible especially if you have a hearing problem both in the restaurant and upstairs.

It’s been acceptable so far. I’ve met a lot of friendly people. I haven’t had any negative feelings except for the food menu. It would be nice if there was more protein offered, especially on weekends.

Friendly environment people and staff care about you genuinely. Even after my husband had to go to a place with more care I am so happy I was able to stay with all my friends. The food is absolutely amazing.

I’d like to say that our new director is great. I’m not happy that we can’t choose what we want on our salad. We need more activities, especially for people who don’t get out much. I wish they had the fall monitoring available again.

I love being here and I love the residents because they are like family to me. The staff is so sweet and the food is good. I love happy hour and talking with my friends. I love playing Bingo and the exercise classes offered here. I feel safe around here.

I’ve been here 7years and absolutely love it here. The people and staff are like family. We play and live together. We have fun outings and the driver is amazing too! It’s so nice to not have to worry about a thing.

Everyone is very accommodating and they see to my needs and the programs are great! Love having a driver available so I can get to my appointments. The outings are so fun and I learn something new! The parties are fantastic and love the entertainment.

Verena is on the verge of excellence. It has the facilities it needs to be excellent. The staff members are hard-working and caring. However, management fails to provide the communication that would pull everything together. Transportation is unpredictable. This pulls other staff members from their jobs to correct this. So their jobs are not done as correctly or timely as it should be. Rules are not enforced consistently. Why have a rule that you can only have 2 pets if you’re going to allow 4? From the minute you walk into this facility, you feel right at home. I know that when my mom moved there she fell in love immediately with the caring staff, the amazing food and the wonderful living conditions. The activities at Verena are the best in the industry. They have consistently planned things to do throughout the day and even at night sometimes. Overall, I would give this place 10 out of 10.
