My mil was in a bad place and Verena was the perfect place to get her into. She loves the activities and the people it’s like the family away from family. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The food she looked forward to seeing what the chef made everyday and absolutely says it is always fantastic!

I have lived here for 7 years and my family lives close by. I was a founder when I came to this community. They don’t recognize the people who were founder’s anymore. My family isn’t moving me at this time. I do not have any complaints. I have enjoyed Living here at Verena and love are staff they are so very helpful and wonderful people. A Happy Resident.

Staff here is excellent. They care and go out of there way to make sure we are comfortable and well taken care of. Corporate is another story. There are so many people who live here on a fixed income that can’t afford the Exorbitant rental increases that are being expected. There are so many people that are looking for other places to live and that’s a shame because lots of these people have lived here for years. They changed chefs shortly after they moved in. Replacement was not very good. The meals have gotten better but still not what they used to offer

The food has gone down in quality and they have some struggles with getting the transportation arranged for medical appointments. But overall they feel safe and it is a very clean environment! I think it's a good facility and the value for the area is great.

Every community has its quirks and Verna is no different. However, the staff from management down to housekeepers are incredibly kind and consistently goes above and beyond. New Chef. His menu changed and took some getting used to but overall is very good. On Christmas, I had the lamb with delicious ruby quince bordelaise that was outstanding. I have been here 6 years and I have done a lot with my friends. The staff is very friendly. I think they are great. I have been very happy here at Verena at Leander. I have made some really great friends here.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! People are very friendly. Its home! It's great to have transportation to things and appointments. I have made some great friends here. The apartments are nice and feels like home.
It has been a big adjustment, but its starting to feel like home. I have jumped in and am making lots of friends and even teaching a line dancing class. I like that I don't have to cook and the food is yummy!
