Currently undergoing a "soft opening," this stylish restaurant bar gets my vote as the best place to drink or dine in Indy...hands down. Tim was a helpful and attentive server at table 66! Ray gave us a very pleasant tour, too!
From the second you walk in the door you won't be sorry. From the live garden on the wall, the wine, cocktails, and food everything is satisfying to all your senses. I can't wait to go back and try something new.
A rare gem in Indy in this newly opened Lockerbie spot. Fresh ingredients, they grow many of the greens on a hydroponic wall, inventive combinations and flawless presentation. A creative chef has been given free reign to be bold and we are the beneficiaries. The space is very cool, attached to an old home that had been converted into a prior restaurant. We had Valentine's Day dinner at Vida. I have to say, I was highly impressed with the atmosphere, decor, food/drink, service, everything! The menu is quite eclectic with a variety of selections to pick from - this is the chef's test kitchen, which brings a lot of unique flavors to the menu. The service was impeccable - Amanda knew everything about the menu and made some great recommendations from the drink list. Great place! Will definitely be back soon to sit in their gorgeous bar.
My husband and I saw Vida driving by it one evening and the lighting immediately drew us in and we decided to make a reservation for our anniversary. Even before we arrived the service was amazing. They called to confirm our reservations and any allergies. Offered to open valet parking a little early since we had an early reservation. We were very excited to try the latest offering from the Cunningham Group and we were not disappointed. The bar was a great place to start with amazing craft cocktails and a very knowledgeable bar man. We were quickly taken to our table near the wine cellar. From the moment we walked in the door I loved this restaurant! The decor and vibe was amazing. The wall of greens took my breath away it was so beautiful! Our server was knowledgeable and described the menu offerings thoroughly. I look for this place to be packed as more people hear about it! 10 stars! Two thumbs up!
We had high expectations for this new restaurant, and we were not disappointed. From the initial welcome, to the craft cocktails, to the wait staff, to the food and wine pairing, to the ambience; it was simply a fantastic experience. We are looking forward to returning soon and enjoying this beautiful restaurant and its creative, exquisite dishes.
Checked out Vida one Friday night and it was awesome. Had a knowledgeable waiter, food had great flavors and prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back to Vida!
