Parking is a problem. Noise level on bar side too loud for conversation.
One of the worst dining experiences. Made a reservation for a group of 8 people to celebrate two birthdays. Got nannys for the kids and planned on making a night of it. Walked in and we were told we had two hours to dine as there was another reservation behind us. We were like hun??!!!! Plus we couldnt order the tasting menu as "we didnt have the time range". Great food in an exciting, dynamic space. Service not yet up to level of food. For example waiter had difficulty describing entrees and made one mistake on simple order for table of 4.
We will not come back again as the portions were very small and the prices were we thought very high. The service was very good but we're not returning.
Food was delicious. Hostesses need hospitality training.
The décor is conservative posh- nice but not original. The menu tries desperately to be original but lacks flavor. The eggplant dish had no flavor, except for the goat cheese...hugely disappointing if one expects to taste eggplant! The tasting menu was insipid, overdone, and overpriced. The wine list didn't have lower end priced options, and the expensive wine we ordered was not worth the price. Definitely not a neighborhood restaurant where we'll return to.
Reservation wasn't ready til 30 mins after the expected time this has happened twice now
The place is stunning. It is absolutely beautiful. Our server was outstanding and knew the menu very well but the support, people bringing and clearing plates and refilling water, were too conspicuous and bumped us too often as they did their job. None of us was excited about our entrees (party of 6). The salads were fresh, but every one of the few menu items has too many ingredients. All the flavors compete with one another. Froufrou fold that is very small servings and way overpriced. Cocktails were handcrafted and were very good. Like the other Cunningham restaurants much better than Vida
