For 3 days in a row I am getting the same message 'vonage service unavailable. Please try again later.'
It uses your cell phone minutes. Not your data plan or wifi. Dial number directly instead of using this app.
Everytime I choose a number to dial from contacts of the app. It opens iPhone diaper calls Vonage access number, asks fir pin and number to dial.
This app is worthless! It doesn't even route over wifi. It is basically the same thing as dialing from the native phone app, except you have to open up this app which then opens up the native phone app and dials using the ATT cell towers. Worthless!
Due to holiday season all circuits are busy, plz try after some time... Same MSG for last 3 days... Well it's a paid service and they don't have enough capacity to manage the volume... What should we say... I have to make calls using other service inspire of having Vonage...this should be shown in Vonage advert.
Totally useless App, Can not use Contacts phone numbers - It always asks for PIN and phone number.
If it connected over wifi, would give it a 5 but lame it only uses your carrier's 3g? Please have it connect via wifi in future. Also, it would be nice if you can pick a local number for the app and add it to your favourites to avoid using up your minutes. This app is very convenient but beware of carrier charges coz your constantly using up your minutes!
The call from iPhone is bad. Also after making the call using phone number from contacts, it goes back to phone app rather than Vonage app. So far I have not. Even able to make a successful call with reasonable call quality using this app.
I'm in the military overseas and have had and still have a Vonage account since 2008. My home account worked great in Germany but now that I'm in Korea, my home account doesn't seem to work with Korean IP addresses. I downloaded this app hoping that I'd be able to use my Vonage number again but being that you can use it only while you're in the states, this app is useless to me.
