I had Vonage Mobile app and that app helped in international calls. It was just awesome.. Now with Extensions, I am facing call drop issues so much that I am considering whether to keep my Vonage service at all... Doesn't make sense to have this app if there are calls that drop in every call I make.. Vonage team, fix the issue please!!!!
I have been using vonage mobile for years, it is being discontinued, and replaced with this malfunctioning behemoth. I was really hoping this thing would work, and with the past experience of vonage mobile i had high hopes! I call internationally for work daily, and this app would have brought down my costs substantially, But... I need to put a pin in at every call, once i place the call it asks me to re-input the number im dialing???? So, whats the use of the app again? I called from the address book of Vonage extension but I have been charged by my service provider. All though Vonage is giving a credit back they need to find out the actual cause. Once the call is over using Vonage, the address book of my cellphone gets invoked. Calls drop off when talking even though the signal strength is good at times
Not sure why but I been able to get this to work yet. It looks like it works when usual it the the interface changes to my regular phone interface and uses my cell minutes.
I truly appreciate the extension app so that I can make calls to India from my iPhone and not have to dial the pin or phone numbers as it pulls the contacts. But the calls drop A LOT. Sometimes after 10 secs. The longest I was able to talk may have been 10 mins. Can you please fix this issue. It's not because my signal drops. But otherwise voice quality is good most of the time. Just help with the drop calls please :)
Why it does not use WiFi as well? Why not domestic calling as well? Why not ring and let me answer when my home Vonage phone rings? Implement the above and you get a new star for each and a bonus one at the end!
Wish they have a warning that you are using your airtime !!! Maybe also show a counter with total minutes used Don't consider this for pure VoIP calls on wifi It doesn't work that way!!!
Very slow, crashy, very poorly developed by amateur underpaid developers... It does not even work. It calls your Vonage extension number.. And ask for your pin and then will prompt to enter the phone number that you want to dial.. What is the point ?? You can dial the Vonage extension number directly from phone book.. This takes forever to load on mobile network...what a waste of time... Very bad for the name of Vonage'
