Hi, thanks for the feedback. The app should work in the background of course. sometime the Android OS can prevent apps from running in the BG due to permissions or battery optimization concerns. You may send us more details to essentialsmobilefeedback@vonage.com so our team could look into that.
Voip just doesn't work well. Constant network problems unless on Wi-Fi. Set it to use my actual phone to dial out so it actually works. Incoming calls usually have problems. Really sucks for the business.
