Great as usual. Decorations were wonderful and service and food delightful!
My book club enjoyed a holiday gathering here. I asked for a quiet spot, which we had. The decorations and music put us right in the seasonal spirit. Our service was excellent and the food delicious.
We picked WA Frost for our staff holiday lunch but did not anticipate the pre-Xmas lunch crowd, as we were there for 2 1/2 hours. Service was friendly but slower than any of us could afford as we had to go back to work.
For years we have chosen Frost to celebrate special occasions. We just love the historical ambience and of course, the food is wonderful. This time it was my husband's birthday. We decided to try the Chef's Tasting Menu with wine pairings for my husband, and a single glass for me (designated driver). Each element of the menu, from amuse to dessert was complex and surprising. We would definitely recommend Frost and the tasting menu to our friends and business associates.
Great service and food. A perfect place to meet friends or family and be able to talk to one another.
We enjoyed the ambiance of a crackling wood fire in a huge, stone fireplace, the tasteful Christmas decorations---not to mention the magnificently decorated Christmas tree---and the well-prepared, delicious entrees. The seafood chowder was memorable; it reminded me of other dinners in foreign ports around the world. The food was delicious, the service prompt and the wait staff courteous and unobtrusive.
WA Frost is a wonderful place for a special occasion. I enjoy the ambiance. It is a truly beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. With all this going for it, it is comfortable. This place does not have an attitude. It is not stuck up.
went here for my boyfriend's 25th birthday - it was SO cozy and welcoming. fire places everywhere, brick building with christmas trees and ornaments lining the entire restaurant. food was delicious - especially the asian wings. service was fast and friendly - it was quiet enough for us to not have to speak loudly to hear each other but not so quiet that we felt like we needed to whisper. would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back
Our party of six had a wonderful time here, discussing families, exchanging gifts, and enjoying a wonderful meal and drinks. Overall delightful experience!
