My friends and I chose WA Frost for dinner after our Christmas outing. We were there @ 5:00, had a wonderful table by a fireplace---we did not get too warm, it was comfortable the whole time we were there. It was quiet, however by the time we left it was getting busier so I would say the noise level was moderate, but certainly not to loud. The food was delicious, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. We were there for almost 2 hours, had a nice relaxing dinner.
Everything was spot on. Food was well prepared great balance with all the flavors. We each had a cocktail from the list, they where all extremely tasty.
We were referred to this restaurant and had high expectations. Because of this, we were concerned that we might be disappointed. However, expectations were exceeded with quality food and great service. The server's suggestions were spot on. The only seeming disappointment was the less than expected small serving of the desert. However, in the end, I'm glad it was not any larger than it was. I recommend WA Frost highly and will be back.
Food and wine were great. Parking can be tricky but if you're willing to walk a little, it's okay. Server wasn't very friendly, but it wouldn't stop me from going back. If it became a pattern, then I might change my mind.
We had a lovely lunch, my only complaint was that it was cold. We requested a table my the fireplace and it was not working when we were seated. Kindling was added but the fire lasted for about 45 minutes and was not restarted which was disappointing. This is a lovely restaurant but a let down with the temperature in the restaurant. Out meal was very nice and the service was nice.
This is a very elegant yet comfortable environment. Valet available and also designated parking lot next door. I would recommend reservations. We ordered their cheese plate and it was excellent. Wine list is phenomenal. We had their Pheasant and Pasta. Excellent. We also had s'more dessert and did not care for the "smokey" flavor. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Food was good but selection limited. Service was very slow. Why does a person have to request a spoon when receiving soup? We had out of town guests who expected the WA Frost we had told them of from previous visits. Adequate lunch but definitely did not meet my expectations.
Service made our special event fun and made our kids feel special
Four of us went here for lunch, and we were very pleased with every detail of our experience. We had a table near the crackling wood fire, and enjoyed a very, leisurely lunch. Wine was good and food was excellent. Our waitress and the other wait staff were outstanding. We will be back!!
