This is one of the most lovely outdoor settings in the Twin Cities, with an ambiance that make it a "must" dining experience. Its menu is scaled back during COVID, but the overall experience remains quite enjoyable.
It wasn’t terrible, the patio is great but it was just a little awkward having to place our order ourselves and pay for everything ahead of it arriving. And $60 for 2 glasses of wine and a cheese plate is ridiculous. We went there for the patio and to be served. Had I known how it was ahead of time, I would have just got a bottle of wine and went to a park for the same vibe.
The patio at WA Frost is my favorite place to enjoy enjoy an afternoon with friends in the summer. Of course, because of COVID things have changed, but the experience overall was as wonderful as always!!!

The food was delicious, as always. The new way of ordering food via the website with limited contact with staff is a great way to provide a night out in the current pandemic climate. The tables are placed appropriately 6 feet apart and you must wear a mask if you leave your table. I will always recommend WA Frost for the food and service.
The WA Frost patio is the best outdoor dining site in the Twin Cities, in our opinion. They have removed a large number of tables so social distancing is very easy. You do need a smartphone to read the QR code on the table and all the ordering is done via the website to minimize interaction with the waitstaff. Very effective. Our food was great but it is a much reduced menu than offered prior to COVID. All in all, we’ll be back when we’re ready to venture out again.
The system they’ve set up for pandemic service was very slick.
Service was great, ambiance was great and as always the food was great.
