The patio is still the best. The abbreviated menu felt uninspired and pricy. The salad was very dull, the fries were delicious. The ordering system has some wrinkles (QR scanning - very little contact with servers). I appreciated the effort to be safe, but the overall experience felt a bit diminished.
Management knows how to manage COVID for their guests - allows everyone to be safe and yet have a very enjoyable dinning experience - miss the energy but that is understandable due to the epidemic. Best, John Lasiuk - Just a Fan
Friday, July 31, 5pm to 6:30pm, our 39th wedding anniversary, my wife and I had a couple of drinks and an appetizer at WA Frost. We try to go to the patio there 2-3 times a year and like usual we were not disappointed. No plastic, nice plates and glasses. Drinks were excellent. Ambiance, terrific as always. We really liked how they handled the whole COVID thing by having tables more than 6 ft apart, making sure everyone had a mask on when not at the table and minimal contact with staff by having customers order everything on their phones. Perfect patio setting for a conversation in a lovely environment.
I really appreciated the wave that the restaurant at set up the tables so that you felt very protected from covid-19 new ordering system went extremely well. I would highly suggest this restaurant and this patio for your dining experience. We'll be back!
The patio was well maintained and lovely, as usual.
I don’t think there’s a patio in town that offers the quiet beauty and casual sophistication of WA Frost. It’s a summer must. They were very good about the Covid dining rules. We felt safe. The food was very good with the only negative was the Summer Salad was tasty but lacked enough vegetables. Too many greens and beans. Other dishes and desserts were perfect.
