We did the full course meal......the lobster was excellent... It was my favorite. Oysters sad to say had a bit of strong fish... Flavor? Fresh...? The meal had duck....seemed like it had a lot of content.....not a big fan of duck fan ....but I gave it a go.. Missed the cheese plate...crackers...always a favorite... Desert was very good... A large severing we couldn't finish... Wait staff was again outstanding...as was bar server... Staff was very knowledgable regarding different elements of the meal. This was a plus. Delicious and good for vegetarians, too!
We all had a great time and the food choices were excellent. I would recommend WA Frost to anyone looking for a place to get together.
I booked lunch for 5 and the round table reserved for us was nicely situated by a fireplace. We got chilled though, because a pass through door to an adjoining dining room was open and cold drafts were a constant. All the food was exceptional, from the artisan cheese appetizers, to the salmon sandwich and roasted half chicken. The creme brulee was outstanding. The server learning one diner was gluten-free brought out special crackers. I've been to W A Frost numerous times and it never disappoints.
I always have a great experience at Frost. The service is attentive, but not pushy. You get all the time you need. Indoor atmosphere is cozy and special, and outdoor patio is the best in the cities. Don't skip dessert!
WA Frost was a very nice restaurant. My only complaint was the food. It was very nicely presented and looked incredible. However, I had the Pan fried Alaskan Cod and It was not up to par, and in my opinion, was a little too expensive for the satisfaction I received out of it, which was very little. Needless to say it was simply not as good as I expected it to be for the price I paid. And the reservation attendant who seated us was a bit stale and did not put my girlfriend and I in a very good spot, although there were plenty... read more
Another SUPER Experience. We have been bringing our family there for Christmas Brunch for 6 years. Our grandchildren love it and will be a new generation of diners here.
W celebrated my daughter's college graduation at Frost and had the tasting menu. The flowers we sent were on the table when we arrived. The service was exactly the best timing so that we could talk and enjoy. Frost is our go to place to feel at home, pampered and eat well.
This was our first time here and we had a wonderful meal there last week! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays and our table was near the fireplace which my wife loved! The food was very good (we had the duck and the scallops). Our waiter was fantastic and surprised us by singing happy birthday to my wife when our dessert came (try the trio plate!). His voice was simply amazing (he is also a professional singer) and it was a fitting conclusion to a great experience!
