Amazing food. Knowledgable staff.
Our table of nine enjoyed the chef's tasting menu. The food was delicious, and the chef accommodated dietary restrictions. The service was uneven. Our servers were pleasant, but there were long, unexplained gaps betweeen courses. The wine pairing sometimes arrived 30 minutes before the course and sometimes 10 minutes after the course.
We had a wonderful 6 course tasting dinner ...was wonderful!
Frost's has been around a long time and I hope it will be in business for many more years. The ambience is unique and the patio is beautiful in the summer. I'm going to call our experience an off night. The food was fine but unremarkable. The service was awkward. Our water glasses were refilled constantly and we had to guard our plates to keep them from being whisked away. My spouse and I had our 27th Anniversary dinner at WA Frost. It was truly one of the best dining experiences ever for us. Wait staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Several went beyond our expectations to make our evening memorable and fun. The chef made courses were creative and extraordinarily done. The atmosphere is very intimate and inviting. We plan to return as soon as we can. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.
We had a very enjoyable evening, with very good food. The fireplaces made for a very cosy atmosphere on a cold January evening.
Frosts is in a word, dependable. Ambiance is pleasant, soothing. Service is good. Food is outstanding. We had Sunday brunch (order off the menu) and the prices rivaled your local family restaurant!
Frost's doesn't miss a trick. I has a great menu with lots of things that are new and wonderful to eat. The menu changes so it's not the same thing every time. The service is attentive with out being obsequious. It's quiet so you can talk to everyone at your table. Since we were there in winter, we were stuck inside. But it has a garden area for summer that's the best in town. It's not cheap but not as expensive as it could be.
Thank you to everyone at W. A. Frost. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with a group of friends who were almost overwhelmed with the great service, atmosphere and food. And a great big THANK YOU to our waiter, he not only shocked my wife by knowing her name (thank you OpenTable) but sang "Happy Birthday" to her in his best Opera voice when he brought out her desert with a birthday candle. The whole restaraunt applauded.
