I had over a year and a half to find the wedding dress I wanted, and as a result I visited many different bridal salons. I went to Wedding Atelier for several different trunk shows until I found the closest thing to what I had in mind. The designer, Modern Trousseau, was able to customize a dress to exactly what I was looking for, within my budget as well! I absolutely loved my dress and am sad that I won't wear it again.

Do not use their tailoring service. I did not receive the service that I paid for since they were suddenly closed in December and it ruined my wedding and the pictures

I had a deeply mixed experience with Wedding Atelier, where I got my wedding dress for my October 2022 wedding.: - The good: I got my perfect dress, tailored correctly and ready for my wedding day. After checking out many bridal salons, WA not only had the exact dress I wanted, but also had the best selection of minimal, column dresses. Don’t buy your dress from here. I was pushed into buying a dress, assured all my fit concerns would be remedied with tailoring. Didn’t trust my gut and I should have.

This review is for the bridal stylist, Jenna Darby, and not necessarily for the shop. She had a horrible attitude - not one smile, not one look of wanting to be helpful. It felt like I was begging her to help me vs her wanting to find me a dress. I also never saw dresses that were above the $3k price point even tho I told her my budget was up to $10k. The staff here are wildly rude and pushy. I've heard bad things from friends and just had a bad experience here. Don't waste your time and money!

I picked this dress shop for a specific designer, and ordered my dress in June of 2021. It didn't arrive until 3 weeks prior to my wedding (Aug 2022) and looked a lot different than what I had actually picked. Because it came in so late, I didn't have any opportunity to change it to what I really wanted/said yes to. All appointments, from picking the dress to fittings, felt rushed, and I definitely felt like just a number to them, instead of a bride. I was so excited for my appointment here but it was horrendous. The consultant who worked with me pushed one designer on me and did not listen to what I asked for. I tried on 5 dresses and when I didn’t love any of them and asked to try on others, she told me she had nothing else. Really? The appointment ended early. I’ve gone dress shopping with friends at places like Saks, Bergdorf, l’Fay, Designer Loft, and Kleinfelds. Terrible experience. Would not go back. Measurements were wrong so when dress came in, did not fit. I had measurements taken the same month for a different dress and those were a half inch larger than the ones wedding atelier had taken. Instead of accepting a possible mistake, was told in the fitting room that they've 'seen this with a lot of covid brides'. I had in fact lost weight due to the stress of my job.
