Since moving into a different building 3 months ago I see how trash this place really is and I'm counting down the days until my lease is up...the place is infested with millipedes I've called for pest control they said they came but they did not...the pictures you see are after spraying and cleaning for 2 hours the night before...building 23 smells like animal shit and the walkways are always filthy, and the front office well Nina to be exact is no help at all...when I moved in I never saw that lady at all she said she woul... read more

I am writing this due to the fact that after living at Wesley St James for over 3 years, management refuses to fix a severe water leak in my unit. I have complained several times and sent many photos of the black mold and flooding that as occurred in my unit as a result of this leak. Every time I complain, maintenance comes out and puts more duct tape over where the water is leaking (as if that does anything). The complex is disgusting- trash everywhere. They half fix everything. Also, they are infested with roaches. If I could give a negative one I would. They leasing agents seem nice until the real issues start rolling in. Asked to be let out of my lease on the 35th day and they gave me hell. Nina is nice however she is selling a dream. DONT MOVE HERE!

Hot water heater has been broken for 5 days and they have yet to come fix it despite 3 requests. Also the front gate is left open 24/7 so its not really a gated community. Highly disappointed.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! The front office is extremely difficult to work with. We had an extra roommate added to a list, sent the front office notice, the new applicant filled out an application and informed the front office of a pet, and when we moved out they tried to charge us for a pet fee saying "we did not tell the front office of the pet" even though we sent them a copy of the application noting the pet was being added. There are nails everywhere in the parking lot from when maintenance requests are processed. I personally h... read more

Wesley will define wear and tear in their own terms to make you pay to turn around an apartment for their next tenant. All rent and maintenance fees aside for a 3 year stay they expect to go in and turn around an apartment.

We were given a non-renovated unit with the understanding that it would be renovated after we left, yet we were charged for paint and a few tears in the cheap, vinyl floor (which were caused by the ice maker leaking and flooding the apartment multiple times and never being fixed properly.) I would have been happy to pay for any damage to the carpet or blinds, but the other things I was charged for were truly unacceptable. My daughter rented an apartment from 2017 to May 2019. At the time of rental, we were shown apartments that had been upgraded with marble counter tops and new appliances. Another unit we were shown had not been upgraded and had old appliances. Due to timing of our move versus apartment availability, we were offered the older unit at the prevailing price but not up-charged for the garage due to the unit's age. The place is nice and maintenance comes pretty quickly. Usually within the next day at most. However the office is what makes this place a dud. For whatever reason, it takes literally 20 calls for them to finally pick up. And then they have the audacity to say they see your call and will give you a call back when any other time if you call once or twice in a row, they don't even bother to reach back.
