Do not take your loved ones here! Our story below... I was impressed by the thoughtful sales/administrative person who I initially spoke with on the phone, so I visited the facility one evening, and then decided to transfer my 81 year old mother here to recover after a major surgery at Stanford Hospital. The facility is a bit worn down looking, but I had visited a few of these "Medicare-based" facilities, and had not yet seen one that looked new and tidy. My mother was at White Blossom from March 2017 through September 2017, when she passed. Actually, as far as a SNF (nursing home) goes, it was okay. Thanks to the (it turns out unnecessary) pressure/encouragement of the social services staff, we checked out many nursing homes when she was at WB (read below to see why) and it seemed as good as most of the others. My mother in law was brought to the facility for occupational and physical therapy and because she is a heavy woman they did therapy with her twice. when things hurt her they ignore it. She has to sit and wait for someone to change her when she goes to the restroom. She came in with breathing and heart issues and after they change her they keep her on her back and she can barely breath. When I come to visit I have to demand that things get done. My dad liked white blossom for there nice rehab facility. The food was also pretty good. The things we did not like was the fact that the drs didn't come in very often two days in a row we thought something didn't look right we my father. We showed the nurse supervisor and they did X-ray but said things were fine. I never thought you could tell if there's an infection with an x-ray. My family member is Diabetic on Insulin n oral pills .He wakes up at 2-3 am Hungry n calls for assistance to give him something to eat he has been told they don't have anything to give him if they even respond to his call light . My brother wakes me up w a phone call begging me to bring him something to eat at 3am I feel so bad so I usually brings him some snacks to eat at the middle of the night horrible service from the staff. This skilled nursing home is horrible. From the first day as I was checking our family member in for rehabilitation. She was transferred to White Blossom by ambulance from the hospital. We walk into her shared room and as we start putting her belongings away we see there is a pedistal sink (inside the room itself) and there was brown smudged hand print on it! My father was sent there after a lengthy hospital stay and was to get rehabilitation to strengthen his legs. After being there 4 days I along with my dad's medical advocate had a meeting with Dr. Narayan who stated he wasn't showing progress and recommended he be placed there permanently. His stay from there was all downhill. Only one of his "therapists" actually worked with him and said he was improving. the others always gave a poor progress report. White blossom has cockroaches! Filthy! Infection control doesn't follow standard procedures or take the correct precautions. Gave my grandmother ESPL and CDiff! LOOK IT UP. They told me that the roommate that they roomed her in was okay to room with my grandma but how did she get infected?! Hmmm... now she's infected for THE REST OF HER LIFE!!!

one star is too many, is required to make this post - there should be a huge warning sign!!! if there is one negative review at an elder care facility believe it! white blossom is a hell hole. it is filthy, understaffed, under trained. they have you sign a 125 page contract!!!! who does this! they don't answer the phone - it's a hospital. they don't answer the phone. they don't believe they have to. it is a hell hole, beware - beware-beware!!! filthy, disgusting!!!!!!
