If I could give negative stars I would. There should be other options, seriously. I am going to only include the most serious documented violation (there are so many problems). Two gas line extensions were installed under a paver patio. No permits (obviously not inspected) were completed. Three weeks of constant badgering by Yavapai for full payment but no response on unsatisfactory workmanship issues. (Balance owed was 10% of contract). If there were minus stars I would check those. The owner Nathaniel is an arrogant man who does not keep his word. Last June, his crew was sent out and did an unprofessional job without knowledge of proper pruning techniques. They also chopped off 5' Lilac bushes that were beautiful and ones my mother had planted many years ago. When I called to make him aware of that and many other unfinished issues, he said he would have new Lilac bushes planted. I had an appointment with Nathaniel of Yavapai Landscaping. The appointment was 1-2pm. I waited around until about 2:10. No Nathaniel and no call. I got a call around 2:30 but being in Prescott, I must have been in a dead zone and didn't receive the call. He called again sitting in front of my place at 3:00pm. I told him that he was late and I couldn't wait anymore. He apologized and asked to reschedule. I said no that I didn't have a good feeling about the company anymore. Wish we'd paid more attention to this company's reviews on Yelp regarding poor customer service. Called them, an estimator came out and spent almost an hour reviewing our landscaping needs, including water management, which we figured would cost more than $12k. When casually asked when we would see a quote, he replied "By the time you wake up tomorrow". Wow. It's now several weeks later. I wish I could do negative stars but I cant because this keeps getting better. Had someone out today because I am not longer getting water through the hose that connects the valve to my back yard. Somewhere there is a kink in the line, but when I was the company that came out to try and fix this nightmare I noticed that the line was spliced just before it went under the wall going into my back yard.
