All the representatives that I spoke with, including Ms. Gazdjian, were very helpful and were able to assist me with all issues and document requests presented to me. Also, the online portal made document submission extremely easy and convenient!
The start of the process went very smoothly and I returned all my paperwork within a couple days with the exception of a title issue relating to a home equity loan that was paid off 5 years prior. After all the paperwork was submitted everything just stalled for about 30-45 days and then a flurry of activity at the end. Seems like it could all get done in less than 30 days if you are able to eliminate the wait period.

The refinance seemed to be a bit steamlined because I was a current customer of PennyMac but the calculating of payoffs, escrow funding/impounds, and how existing loans were paid off was not ideal not time efficient and caused several thousands of my funds to be delayed waiting for refunds from creditors that were overpaid and from Pennymac because impounds were inflated. Other than that it has been a fair experience.
I have been using PennyMac on several occasions, and as of late I have not encountered any issues. Most definitely use PennyMac services in the future. JORGE ROQUES
