Overall just horrible
The food was overpriced. We were the only ones there for the beginning of dinner on Valentine’s Day. We expected the food to be on point since they were not busy. We enjoyed the place and the feel of it. It felt very upscale and classy. The food seemed very bland, and the portions were super small. I mean the size of a ritz cracker for the appetizer, for $30! Terrible service, it took 45 minutes to be given water and over an hour before our drinks orders to be taken- we were sat at a table. Several items were we ordered for dinner were never delivered.
Bad customer service! Food was no that much testy! I expected it to be super nice! It’s expensive compare to the food test! Inaccurate check calculation as well!
Very excited to try this restaurant as it took over a spot that I loved stopping at in gaslamp. Never got my entree. The very beginning of the evening at ZAMA we made a reservation and me and others were waiting for our reservation outside for over 20 minutes, I didn’t not complain as the night happened trying to give this place a fair shot. The food is all pre-prepared including the sushi rolls so the food didn’t have a fresh taste.
Poor customer attention. Service was lacking from beginning to end. Very disappointed.
We were super excited to get to know the place but unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. service was good, lovely server, she knew exactly everything on the menu and gave good recommendations. I had very high expectations from this place. And honestly it wasn’t that great. Let’s start by saying we made a reservation and put special ocasión it was my moms birthday and my bday celebration with the girls. They invited us and I chose this place thinking it would be super fun & cool. I’m the contrary they didn’t even say happy birthday and obviously didn’t even bring a bday candle or anything.
