Works like a charm! This thing is awesome! I especially like the large capacity.
A must have This thing is great, a must have if you run the vac all the time. Previously anything that got sucked up ended up in the pump basket causing it to break and the pump to over heat. This Leaf catcher works great because if it get full it has a auto bypass and will not cause any damage to the pump. Easy to clean and use.
Much improved from the older design. This new design is of much better quality than the original leaf catcher from Zodiac. The plastic is of much thicker material and I was happy to see that the handle is now molded to the case then slid in like before. This product includes quick connect adapters for older (slip) type hoses and also includes a 45 degree bend for plugging into the vacuum port (if your pool has one). The cyclonic action works great and lets the vacuum do its job more consistently! I purchased this from an overseas retailer in 2013 before it was available here in the USA and on Amazon. I was previously troubled with leaves and debris clogging the pump strainer on a weekly basis. Good addition to pool cleaning Appears to be working well with the MX8
however it is not very easy to reattach after cleaning It wars as advertised, however it is not very easy to reattach after cleaning. It takes a little time to align the lid back onto the leaf catcher container.
