The price is not synonymous with quality - most expensive but poor produce Too bulky, heavy once under water and the attachments snaps. The materials does not seems to be suitable for the use. They must rethink the design and the materials.

Fantastic- if you want a leaf blender in your pool I honestly believe that this product has as many stars as is it does because people haven't used any other in-line filter before. The design of this thing is inherently flawed for two major reasons. 1) The "filter" is a hard plastic shaft with small holes in it that sits in the middle of the canister and sucks in water and prevents leaves from entering your pump basket. Cool! The problem is that the suction creates a vortex of leaves and debris that swirls rapidly around the... read more

Doesn't seal. I purchased this Zodiac in-line leaf filter ,as I had previously purchased and own 2 Pentair filter which held up great for about 2 years in extreme desert heat, unlike the Pentair filters this Zodiac filter was sucking in air the 2nd day ,the top that has the o-ring seal on it doesn't seat right on the body of the filter causing a hizzing sound ,sucking in air an eventually stopping the creepy from working from all the air in the pump/suction side . I tried to return or exchange , maybe the one I got was faulty... read more

filter sucks air and doesn't work as it should after 3 months the top cover is loose and sucks air causing problems with the pump. I have greased the O-ring but the top is loose when put together.

Next best thing to leaf filter basket Had to change from an outflow sweeper to a suction sweeper (Baracuda) since previous sweeper was discontinued and replacement parts were non-existent. Had to give up leaf filter basket to plug in vacuum sweeper. Put the leaf canister in the vacuum line and it began collecting the leaf and particulate matter that the zodiac was collecting from the bottom of the pool. Works quite well. Does not remove material floating on surface of pool like collection basket did, but does save a bunch of... read more

The adapter did not fit my very standard pool hose. The description said "The Leaf Catcher includes fittings for Zodiac cleaners and slip fittings for all other brands." Not true as the adapter did not fit my very standard pool hose. I don't know how it worked because I couldn't use it.

Junk and bad customer service Leaf canister broke after only a couple of months, no help from the store and zodiac customer service is worthless by at your own risk. There’s plenty of cheaper products that are way better and a better value zodiac is horrible.

Redundant This product is redundant. Most pools have a skimmer basket and a basket at the pump that prevents leaves from getting into the pool filter.
