Mine was useless I tried to love this thing since the idea was great but it just does not seal properly. It lets in water and/or air through the lid seal so it barely works at all. I ended up just using a cheap $15 one that worked better. I wish I'd ordered this after I got back from a work trip as I didn't get to try it until after the return period was over, so it's just sitting in the pool box never getting any use
You will be disappointed Don’t bother wasting your money with this leaf catcher. Cracked and leaks in less than a year. The bottom isn’t made well. Disappointing
can not substitute hoses The substitute hose that last order before ordering new canister do not work
It's Zodiac... a proprietary POS. It's a proprietary accessory for a Zodiac pool cleaner. The cleaner works well, if it can get water pressure. Unfortunately, unless you modify every single proprietary accessory, it cannot! Everything (especially this piece) sucks air! The hose floats and the joints suck air. This Leaf Catcher is somehow able to suck air through BOTH SIDES at the same time!I've used my glue-gun to make the catches fit tighter and put on an o-ring to make the top fit tighter. Lets air into pump Flips itself on its side and lets air into the system, HUGE flaw. I don't know how this thing has so many good reviews. I'm going back to the classic Hayward. Wish I hadn't wasted time and money on this gimmick.
Don’t buy Stop working after two months of use.
Proprietary connectors are the I am regretting having this companies products...The proprietary connectors are the pain point, 5x the cost for these connectors is even more frustrating.I only bought this because it stated it has universal connectors for hoses. They are over-sized so they will not work with common pool hoses. These are not universal by any means, they only work on larger pool hoses that most will not use. Poor Durability Although the canister initially functioned as described, the lid (or cap) broke within a remarkably short period of routine use.
Expensive Trash Air leaks, hose comes off, and top comes off dumping trash back in pool. Can easily damage pump if your not there when it happens.
