Easiest Design This is the best design because the canister easily twists off and there is plunger you pull out and it takes all the leaves up with it. This replaced one where you have take the entire can off the hoses and then PULL PULL PULL it apart. A complete PITA. This design leaves the top blue part connected to the hose and you only have to remove the bottom section. 10 seconds to clean verse a messy 10 minutes with the other design. Even if your old one works, like mine does, replace it with this.
Amazing Wish it was out when I first bought my pool vacuum. A must have for every pool. Get one while they are still available.
Excellent I wish I had purchased this years ago! It cleans up all the leaves dropped by my neighbors tree! Thanks
Excellent. Works perfectly. I have a floor pop up vac system that failed and instead of getting it repaired I just bought a Zodiac cleaner. Since I do not have a side wall connection for the new vacuum I attach it inside the skimmer basket...and then send debris directly to my pump basket. Not anymore. This thing attaches inline and solved that problem.
Still needs a bit of design work Clogs quickly, before the container has filled more than 10 percent. Sucks air because the lid doesn't seal well and won't stay submerged.
Afraid It’s Just a Gimick Very expensive. When it comes to reliability, when it floats in the pool, not sideways it’s great. What happens it always turns on its side, air gets in and everything stops. Then I have to submerge the leaf catcher in the water until it fills up with water then everything, vacuum, fountain and leaf catcher start working, until it turns on its side again. I just took it out
Save YOUR MONEY This is ok if you do not get very many leaves in your pool. This is basically a smaller pitcher that attaches to the skimmer hose and skimmer, creating a swirling suction pulling the leaves and debris into it. Here's the problem: once the Cyclonic leaf catcher (Fancy Name for a pitcher with a suction head) gets full, it shuts down the pool filter. This caused my pool to turn GREEN to the point that the pool had to be completely drained, and power washing cost $325.00.
Mine was useless I tried to love this thing since the idea was great but it just does not seal properly. It lets in water and/or air through the lid seal so it barely works at all. I ended up just using a cheap $15 one that worked better. I wish I'd ordered this after I got back from a work trip as I didn't get to try it until after the return period was over, so it's just sitting in the pool box never getting any use
You will be disappointed Don’t bother wasting your money with this leaf catcher. Cracked and leaks in less than a year. The bottom isn’t made well. Disappointing
