Lasted me 4 years In Arizona Summer Before It Disintegrated & Died It does the job well until it dies. The unit lasted me 4 years. With time, plastic disintegrates, deforms, doesn't seal well, and eventually cracked. So budget to buy every 4 years.
Frequently Loses Seal and Lets Air In I've had this leaf canister for 5 months now and am dissatisfied. Too many times I've discovered my pool system not running properly because air gets into the canister and then gets stuck in the pool's piping. I'm afraid to leave the vacuum connected when I'm away from home because it's bad for the pool motor to operate with air in it. Would not seal properly. Easy to install but kept sucking air, which prevented circulation and causing algae to grow. I have never had to brush and check my chemicals as often using this filter. I removed it today, too bad it's just out of its warranty/return date.
Leaked air ! Started to leak air and became unusable within one week.
Clogs up easy I have a pool that is not covered and it gets a lot of debris and I expected for $85 this would be the best leave catcher. While I was wrong. It clogs up easy and then there is no suction. The basket is not very large either. I would like to return it but they only had a 30-day return and it took me that long to realize it isn't going to work for my pool. 😐
Dont buy this! Doesn't work as promoted. Useless
The price is not synonymous with quality - most expensive but poor produce Too bulky, heavy once under water and the attachments snaps. The materials does not seems to be suitable for the use. They must rethink the design and the materials.
Fantastic- if you want a leaf blender in your pool I honestly believe that this product has as many stars as is it does because people haven't used any other in-line filter before. The design of this thing is inherently flawed for two major reasons. 1) The "filter" is a hard plastic shaft with small holes in it that sits in the middle of the canister and sucks in water and prevents leaves from entering your pump basket.
